Forerunner
in the field of consciousness Evolution, Dr. Christopher Hills
was a map-maker renowned in several areas, including feeding

- Born
in Grimsby, England in 1926, Dr. Hills retired as a successful

traveler (visiting 89 countries of the world) and coordinating
links between all those who were working both as scientists
and spiritual leaders, to bring man to a new understanding
of his destiny. He lived and traveled throughout India for
more than two years. While in India, Dr. Hills was struck
by the hopeless poverty and hunger and vowed to do all in

- In
1966, Dr. Hills founded the Centre House in London, where
a group of people of various backgrounds and professions
lived together practicing a new method of self-government.
- In
1970, Dr. Hills was elected President of the World Yoga
Society and organized the World Conference on Scientific
Yoga in New Delhi which brought together 800 Western Scientists
and Eastern Yogis and "made Yogic history".

- In
1979, Dr. Hills founded the Light Force Company in Santa
Cruz, California, out of a desire to create an economic
base for making the super-nutrient algae Spirulina available
to people around the globe. He is largely responsible for
the introduction of this superfood to the western world.

- In
1985, Dr. Hills made another major contribution to the planet
with the development of a Carotene-rich extract from Spirulina
and Dunaliella algae called Phycotene. In 1986 the results of
a research contract into Phycotene by Harvard University (which
he financed) proved so exciting that it instigated the current
interest in Phytochemicals and anti-oxidants. At that time epidiological
studies showed that populations eating certain fruits and vegetables
had a reduced risk of cancer. The research proved that Beta Carotene
and other antioxidants cured cancer in the hamster cheek pouch
model. These were the first animal studies with these anti-oxidants.
Another research contract with Dana Faber Cancer Institute showed
great promise with pure Phycocyanin extracted from Spirulina.
- Dr.
Hills shares his wide experience and wisdom in more than 2 dozen
books on subjects ranging from conflict resolution to meditation,
divination, and cutting edge breakthroughs in the areas of science
and the heart of consciousness.
- He
created a sanctuary on a 50 acre redwood rain forest estate in
California to honor the emergent energy of the Divine Feminine.
He left his body on January 31st 1997 but his work, vision and
heart-based consciousness is still very present in his eternal
guiding spirit. His wife, Penny Slinger Hills, now runs the estate,
keeping the vision alive, and his son John Hills heads the Christopher
Hills Foundation, continuing with the global hunger mission.
